Physical Therapist (PT) – Easter Seals Rehabilitation – Columbus, GA


Perform patient and office services in support of the facility.


Standard I: Recognize role and operate within an integrated plan of services

Standard II: Regular job functions

Essential function: As many as three hours per day spent working at computer terminal and/or personal computer.

Marginal functions: Usual amount of sitting, standing, lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, and carrying normally found in a health care environment. Working at a computer terminal and/or personal computer.

Environmental factors: May be exposed to communicable diseases, disagreeable odors, dust, fumes, gases, and changes of temperature and humidity. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens.


Experience: At least one year of general or medical office experience preferred.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Special qualifications: Ability to operate computer terminal, personal computer, and other office equipment required. Familiarity with medical terminology preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes, and Medical Manager preferred.

Outside relationships: Maintain an excellent working relationship with sources of referrals and their staffs.

Interaction with other departments: Maintain an excellent working relationship with RSOC Corporate and with other RSOC departments.

Budget: Assists supervisor in operating within the current budget.

Assets controlled: Office equipment and supplies, medical records.
